The Hornbill Festival – Known as the 'Festival of Festivals,' you'll witness a vibrant display of Naga culture, with colorful traditional dances, energetic performances, local handicrafts, and mouth-watering tribal cuisines.
Starting from Guwahati, Assam – We kick off this adventure by exploring the famous Umananda Temple, located on a serene river island, followed by the Maha Mrityunjaya Mandir, one of the largest Shiva temples in India.
Evening at the Weaver’s Home – Experience something truly special by participating in weaving training, dancing, and preparing a local dinner alongside the villagers. This immersive cultural experience will give you a deep connection with the local life.
Kachari Ruins – Before we reach the capital of Nagaland, Kohima, we will visit the historic Kachari Ruins, a glimpse into the ancient megalithic culture of Assam.
Exploring Naga Villages – As we venture deeper into Nagaland, we'll visit some of the most beautiful and authentic tribal villages, giving you a chance to learn about the rich tribal life and traditions of the region.

Arrive Guwahati and our tour representative will pick you up from Guwahati Airport and transfer you straight to visit Umananda Temple. Later you will be heading forward to Kaziranga with enroute visit to Maha Mrityunjaya Mandir – a Hindu Temple dedicated to God Shiva situated in Nagaon is the World’s Largest Shivalinga with a height of 126 ft. On arrival check-in for refreshment Later in the evening we shall join the local lady weaver where we shall part take in weaving training, dance, participate cooking local dinner at the weaver’s home Overnight stay in Kaziranga |

Morning after breakfast we shall begin our day by visiting the Local Market, drive to Kisama to spend the rest of the day at Hornbill Festival. Visit the Morungs where you can witness all the 16 tribes of Nagas and other neighboring states in their best traditional attire, gearing up for the festival. |

Be amused by the performances of various tribes depicting their culture and traditions through their presentations. After the formal program is over Between 2:30 to 3 pm we shall Visit Phesama Village. |

Today we shall have a detailed tour of Khonoma “The First Green Village in the Country”. On reaching Khonoma, start exploring the village by visiting Morungs, traditional gates, Forts, and local people as you unearth the traditions and cultural lifestyle of the local people. |

- Alternatively, a registered participant may transfer his/her registration to a friend without any cancellation fee 2 weeks before the trip only.
- In case of cancellation of the hornbill festival due to any political issues an alternate Trip will be provided in Nagaland for the same dates and no refund for that.
- In case of cancellation of the program due to any gov restrictions due to COVID/ Weather, an alternate date will be provided for the same trip and no refund for that.
- In case you are not able to join the trip on the new dates, either you can send a replacement ( Without any additional cost) / You can opt for Wallet transfer,
- What is Wallet Transfer?: The amount will move to LGFC Wallet and you can use that for any other trip. ( 3% fee will be deducted as movement charges) . Strictly there won’t be any refund to a bank account.
- Wallet transfer is applicable only for the case when a participant won’t be able to join the new date on a postponed trip due to Pandemic / Weather situations
- The wallet transfer offer will only be one time when the new date is announced. Further changes will be counted as normal cancellations and will be as per cancellation policy.
- Installments are to be paid before the due dates.
- In case when installments are pending after the due date, the order will be auto-canceled.
- There will be no refund in case of auto cancellation due to nonpayment of installments.

- Vehicle used for the entire trip will be Tempo Traveller

- Hotels rooms will be 2/3 sharing.
- No room heaters available. There is no lift / escalator in the hotel. Only stairs
- Hotel is in the center of Main Kohima market, so participants can walk for shoping and night Bazaar.
